well when you juice a lot you get tons of energy, lose weight and you become sharper in every way. but you gotta juic many things not just carrots. I juice apples celery,beets, carrots,parsley ect in one sitting. its goes down very easy and it tastes really good ~!!! best thing to do in life is juice,workout, and eat all the right natural stuff. natural foods heal almost anything. My friends dad was dying and started to juice and was healed from his cancer. it works

amicusnemini, that’s a really unhealthy attitude. not eating means that your body starts to live off its fat stores, so yes it does ‘burn’ fat, HOWEVER, your body also begins to store more fat with every sitting, as it assumes that you are experiencing a famine, and that the next meal you eat could be your last. This means that when you have reached your ideal weight and start to eat again after starvation, your body refuses to burn as much fat as it did before the starvation.

cooking does not deplete your food of all nutrients- infact some veggies need to be cooked in order to make the phytonutrients bioavailable (Ex. Lycopene in tomatoes) So if you want to cook your veggies, go for it, better cooked than not at all and your still getting health benefits.
well for some of those thats true but not all the ones that you would normally shop for and be making. carrots and veggies like that are the most common stuff people buy but yeah those other ones you do have to cook .

My best idea is you take alot of laxtives and eat less and work out about 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week. I lost about 30 lbs in 2 weeks doing that.

Don’t take LAXITIVES! They only get rid of water weight and can throw off your electrolyte balance. They should NEVER be used for weight loss. It’s not even fat your losing, it’s your hydration.
Bullshit. 20 lbs in 3 weeks? That would mean you have to burn 3333 calories every day above what you ate. Steps 1, 5, and drinking enough water are good tips, but unless you have 8-10 hours of free time a day to work out, don’t plan on losing weight that fast. Laxatives will help you lose “weight” but doesn’t burn fat, it dehydrates you, and you need water for an efficient metabolism. Eat healthy, in healthy amounts, and work out a bit. Takes some time, but it’s not THAT hard.

@neguruichan only when you’re eating your meals. Food digests better at room temperatures and drinking cold liquids with your meals slows down digestion and can potentially increase the amount of foods that will be converted to fat.
Otherwise, drink cold water throughout the day.

It is possible to lose 20 pounds in 3 weeks, but not 20 pounds of fat in 3 weeks. There is a very big difference. If you try to lose that much weight, then the weight you lose, is mostly water weight and lean muscle tissue. The goal is permanent fat loss, not temporary weight loss.
